"BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS"

In these Terms & conditions, the "TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE" applies to all participating tyre dealers that offer, in collaboration with Bridgestone Europe NV/SA UK Branch, the promoter of the "BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE" product to you.

Article 1. "BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE"

To be eligible for the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE, you must be a private driver of a car, SUVs / 4x4 or van with any of the following Bridgestone tyre brands: Turanza T6.

The BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTE shall apply to fitments of 4 tyres or 2 tyres, but shall not apply in any of the following circumstances:

• Tyres of collector vehicles or competition vehicles.
• Tyres for trailers, caravans and other towed vehicles.
• Used tyres (e. tyres that are not new on fitment).
• Tyres with extended mobility technologies (RunFlat, EXT, B-Seal and similar systems).
• Tyres with noise absorption sponge (B-Silent or similar)
• Tyres for Fleet vehicles
• Tyres for Company car vehicles
• Taxis or private hire vehicles

An eligible customer may request the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE subject to the following conditions:

• The Bridgestone tyres must be purchased and fitted with an affiliated retailer as confirmed by Bridgestone (subject to change from time to time). The BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE product will only be supplied at the time of purchase of the tyres.
• The customer must complete the registration process and upload the tyre invoice/receipt when the transaction is completed at the affiliated retailer.
• The guarantee will only be valid for the

Bridgestone tyres confirmed on the invoice/receipt and purchased from the affiliate retailer.

• In case of replacement or purchase of new tyres, the eligible customer must purchase the BRIDGESTONE TYRES that in scope of this guarantee to qualify for the Mileage Guarantee

Article 2. GUARANTEE SCOPE

BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE is an additional commercial guarantee offered by BRIDGESTONE through this promotion with selected retailers only. This commercial guarantee does not alter a customer’s right to legal warranty coverage arising from the purchase of the Bridgestone tyres.

(a)The assets covered by the guarantee shall be Bridgestone tyres of the Turanza T6 range only that have been purchased

(b)The BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE is non transferable and remains the property of the customer as confirmed as part of the registration process.

(c) The Bridgestone tyres purchased and registered are to remain on the vehicle confirmed during the registration process and may not change

(d) The product provides a guaranteed minimum mileage such that in the event the Bridgestone tyre wears out before 2 years from the date of fitment or mileage shown in the table below, the customer will receive a discount on the retail price paid for the tyre, proportional to the miles not enjoyed.

(e) The duration of the guarantee is 2 years from the purchase date of the tyres.

Article 3. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

To apply for the Bridgestone Mileage Guarantee, an eligible customer must register the Bridgestone tyres purchased from the participating retailer. Registration remains voluntary for any 2 or 4 tyres purchased and it is essential to retain the purchase receipt/invoice as proof of the acquisition. Following successful registration, identification data of each RECEIPT/INVOICE will be retained in the database for the fulfillment of the guarantee.

As part of the registration process, the eligible customer will be asked to agree that they will have all of the mandatory checks required as part of this product as detailed in these terms.

Article 4. PRICE

Unless otherwise confirmed, no charge shall be applied for the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE product.

Article 5. APPLICATION OF THE DISCOUNT

In the event that the Bridgestone tyres that have contracted BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE have not reached the minimum guaranteed mileage, the customer will receive a discount proportional to the miles not enjoyed, using as a reference the cost of the contracted tyres that appears on the original invoice. This discount will be applied to the Bridgestone tyres that is fitted as replacements, which must be like for like, for those worn.

Before a claim under the guarantee can be made, the eligible customer must ensure that the contracted vehicle confirmed as part of the registration process has fulfilled the mandatory vehicle checks at the retailer where the original fitment took place. If the checks have not fulfilled, the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE shall be void.

Article 6. CONDITIONS FOR OBTAINING THE BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE

1. The tyre replacement must be carried out at the same retailer where the tyres covered by the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE were purchased.
2. The invoice/receipt must be presented to request the application of the guarantee. However, the data of each certificate will be registered in the database of the plan for the fulfillment of the good end of the contract.
3. The eligible customer must agree when registering their guarantee that they will have the following checks completed when advised that they are due. In the event of a claim under the guarantee, it is the customers responsibility to provide proof that they have had the compulsory checks carried out by the dealer/retailer from whom the fitment took place. These checks will include the following services that will be provided free of charge to the vehicle contracted as part of the registration process :
4. Wheel Alignment check.
5. Vehicle safety inspection.
6. Checking and adjusting tyre pressures.
7. Mileage update registration.

1. The wear must affect at least one of the tyres on the axle of the vehicle to be replaced.
2. Tyres shall be considered to have worn when the tread depth has reached 1.6 mm in order to be considered for the claim.
3. In case of not having reached the guaranteed minimum mileage, the request for the discount must be made within the first 2 years from the date of purchase of the guaranteed tyres.
4. The calculation of the discount will be made according to the miles traveled by the tyres at the time of reaching 1.6 mm depth according to the remaining tread.

1. In case of requesting the discount for not having reached the minimum guaranteed mileage on single-axle tyres, the guarantee coverages . The customer will be required continue to perform the mandatory checks for the maintenance of the mileage guarantee of tyres not affected and also subject to the mileage guarantee
2. The guarantee does not apply to damage or wear on tyres caused by improper use, including but not limited to improper maintenance, overloading and defective vehicle components. The guarantee does not cover loss of time, inconvenience or inability to use the vehicle.

Article 6. CESSATION OF THE PRODUCT

Without any liability to the customers, Bridgestone reserves the right on written notice at any time to terminate the guarantee product with immediate effect. Termination may include without limitation, in the event of a force majeure, (this being an event outside of Bridgestone’s control for example war, terrorism, flood) or as required by applicable law.

Where Bridgestone ceases the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE, Bridgestone or the network of affiliated tyre dealers/retailers will inform all impacted customers.

In the event of cessation of the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE, unless prevented at law, Bridgestone shall fulfill all guarantees in effect at the date of notification of the discontinuance until the completion of guarantee term. No new guarantees shall be offered from the cessation date confirmedand any replacements fitted as part of the guarantee shall not be subject to a guarantee.

Article 7. EXCLUSION FROM THE GUARANTEE

Bridgestone reserves the right to notify a customer of its exclusion from the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE as a result of the customer's breach of any of the obligations set forth in these Terms, or any other legal provision.

Bridgestone reserves the right not to offer or deny certain customers the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE where the Tyre dealer/retailer or Bridgestone are aware (i) of the high accident rate linked to said customer or (ii) of the lack of compliance, by the customer of the obligations set forth in these conditions or in any other legal provision.

Article 8. MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS

Bridgestone reserves the right to modify, at any time, the terms of the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE. In this case, Bridgestone undertakes to notify such changes through the email or postal address provided by the customer.

Article 10. DATA PROTECTION

BASIC INFORMATION ON DATA PROTECTION

Data Controller: BRIDGESTONE EUROPE NV/SA UK Branch, Athena Drive, Tachbrook Park, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 6UX as the promoter of the BRIDGESTONE TYRE MILEAGE GUARANTEE.

Purpose:

1. Provision of the Bridgestone tyre mileage guarantee ,
2. Compliance with legal obligations;

• Response to any claims or complaints by customers

1. Information requirements by Public Authorities or regulatory body.
2. Communication with the retailers/dealerships
3. Sending reminders for the fulfilment of the mandatory service conditions or changes to the terms of the product

Article 11: Governing law

All disputes arising out of or in connection with this guarantee shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales and English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction
